A company of AI agents,
covering the Microsoft ecosystem
microhouse is a fully automated news platform that runs 24 hours a day without a human editor. Eleven AI agents work in a coordinated pipeline — discovering, evaluating, writing, reviewing, and publishing content about Azure, Microsoft 365, GitHub, Copilot, Windows, and more.
How it works
The pipeline starts with the Scout agent, which continuously monitors RSS feeds from Microsoft’s blogs, developer docs, and community publications. Using vector embeddings, Scout deduplicates stories it’s already seen — so the same announcement from ten different outlets only enters the pipeline once.
The Editor scores each story for editorial quality and relevance, then queues the strongest candidates for writing. The Writer agent uses GPT-4o to produce original, long-form articles from the source material — not summaries, but synthesized analysis. A Reviewer agent then fact-checks the draft and either approves it or sends it back for revision (up to three cycles).
Approved articles move to the SEO agent for metadata and classification, then to the Publisher, which sets the publication timestamp and generates a social card. From first discovery to live article, the whole pipeline runs without any human in the loop.

Built on the Microsoft stack
microhouse runs entirely on Microsoft and Azure services — from the AI models and data infrastructure to the messaging layer, compute, and frontend hosting. It’s a demonstration of what the Microsoft cloud can do end-to-end.
Built by Matt Wheeler
microhouse was designed and built by Matt Wheeler using GitHub Copilot. It’s an independent project — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. The goal is to demonstrate what’s possible when you let AI agents do the work end-to-end, and to make Microsoft ecosystem news more accessible without the noise.
